What You’re Downloading

The Tutorial AI Desktop Recorder is the screen-capture app for macOS and Windows. It records your workflow and collects cursor and interaction metadata that helps Tutorial AI build and polish the tutorial afterward.

The recorder is not the full editor. After recording, the project opens in Tutorial AI, where you can generate or refine the script, add AI voiceover, edit the tutorial like a document, adjust visual effects and publish the finished result.

Why use the desktop recorder?

The desktop app captures more than the video itself. It also records metadata such as cursor positions, which Tutorial AI uses for smoother cursor effects, click-aware sync and more accurate tutorial editing.

If you already have a recording, you can upload it instead. See the screen recording documentation for the available capture options.
