# Create a new project from an existing recording

> Reuse your recordings anytime to make new projects.

Every video project starts with a screen recording. Once you finish recording, a project is **automatically created,** so you don't need to do anything else. ​However, if you'd like to create an additional project using the same recording, just head over to the **Screen Recordings** tab.

Select a project and click the **New project from recording** option for the three dot menu.

Alternatively, open the recording and click **Create Project from Recording** button in the top right corner.

If your recorded audio during the screen recording, your transcribed audio script will appear in the Editor, alternatively a new script will be automatically generated based on the screen recording.
