# Export & Publish video

> Publish your videos via shareable links or embed codes, or download your MP4 video files and closed caption files

Section: Help Center › Collaborate, Export & Publish

The **Publish** feature in this platform allows users to easily share videos by generating a dedicated, unique webpage for each video version. Videos can be accessed via a shareable link or an HTML embed code. This functionality is particularly useful for embedding videos on websites or sharing them externally with clients or colleagues.

Note that first you need to **generate a video** to access this function.

## Publishing Different Video Versions
You can manage multiple versions of your videos, and control which version of your video viewers have access to. Older versions can be unpublished or replaced with updated ones, offering full control over what is publicly visible.

Videos can be shared either using a URL link or via an embed code.

In addition to publishing on the platform, you can also download the video file directly in **MP4 format**, making it easy to upload to other video platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, or other hosting services. This ensures flexibility in sharing across different channels while keeping a version accessible on the platform itself.

If you're distributing through a Learning Management System, you can package a published video as a SCORM course instead — see **[Export your video as a SCORM package](https://www.tutorial.ai/en/articles/export-scorm-package)**.

## Closed Captions
If you prefer using closed captions instead of open (burned-in) captions, you can download the caption files in **SRT**, **SBV** or **VTT** formats. To learn which type of captions best suits your needs, read: **[Captions: Closed vs. Open](https://www.tutorial.ai/en/articles/12521199-captions-closed-vs-open)**.
